This is a part of M-4 "Don" Highway reconstruction from 1,503rd to 1,506th kilometer. Construction workers have already finished the installation of bored piles. Currently, bridge bearing structures are erected – supports, intermediate supports and beams.
A crossroad towards Divnomorskoye settlement is also erected. To date, half of the span construction beams are installed. When the works here are finished, cars driving towards Gelendzhik and back will be able to leave the highway in a comfortable and safe manner and make a turn to Divnomorskoye resort settlement.
A pedestrian crossing will be built on the section from 1,513th to 1,517th kilometer. Totally, it is planned to erect four aboveground crossings and three underground pedestrian crossings. In addition, the junction to the Golubaya Bukhta urban district is reconstructed on the 1,516th kilometer.
Construction workers process with a crossover to the Golubaya Bukhta urban district and an elevated road on a crossroads with the Lunacharskogo Street at the entry to Gelendzhik. Top assembly of metal structures on the construction site is under way.
There will be five traffic intersections near Gelendzhik allowing to increase M-4 highway traffic, improve the region's environment, and enhance traffic safety by separating the car and pedestrian flow.
