Construction of a new interchange begins on the 131st kilometer of M-3 Ukraine Highway

The first pile of the interchange, which will enhance safety on M-3 Highway in Kaluga Region and allow drivers to turn round and move to Moscow or Kaluga without any traffic lights, has already been hammered. The interchange will also improve the transport accessibility of the nearby settlements, such as Golovteevo, Maksimovka and Podpolkovo, as well as ecological situation, for the reason that transit transport will move without stops.

For residents of the above settlements, an exit to the reversal loop (part of the interchange) will be arranged, so that they could drive in the direction of Moscow, and an exit ramp to Kaluga.

Construction and installation works at the interchange at different levels are scheduled for completion by the end of 2021. After the start of traffic on this road section, the speed limit will be increased from 70 km per hour to 110 km per hour.
