Repair works will be conducted on three structures: the first bridge is located on the 227th kilometer of M-1 Highway, and two more (left and right) – on the 237th kilometer of the highway.
The workers have commenced the operations this month. For the period of the works, the road on the 227th kilometer will be narrowed, and the traffic on the left bridge on the 237th kilometer will be ceased – vehicles will move both ways on two lanes of the right bridge. The permitted speed will be limited to 50 km/h.
The span constructions, bridge and intermediate supports will be covered with modern repair fluids. Bridge deck and expansion joints will be fully replaced, and water discharge system will be renovated. Bridge workers will also repair the stairs of the structures and replace the upper level of bridge approaches.
