Road Workers Improved the Territory Near 32 Monuments of the Great Patriotic War

On the current M-1 Belarus highway which hosted the main defense center of Moscow during the Great Patriotic War, a lot of monuments to brave soldiers who liberated the country are erected. Road workers improved the territory of seven memorials, including a monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya on the 86th kilometer, Memorial to the deceased military highway engineers of the Western Front on the 135th kilometer, and Tank memorial complex on the 231st kilometer.

The territory of seven monuments was improved on M-3 Ukraine highway, an important defense and strategic point during the war. Its included the Shchekutinsky Memorial to the 4th Division of the Militia on the 78th kilometer, Memorial complex to the heroic militia men of Kyibyshevsky and Frunzensky districts of Moscow who died in autumn of 1941 defending Moscow on the 90th kilometer, and Monument to the soldiers of the 65th Army who defended Sevsk on the 483rd kilometer.

Along M-4 Don Highway, the territory around 17 monuments was improved. Its included several memorial to the military burial places in the Tula region, monument to the soldiers of the 13th Army of the Southwestern Front on the 398th kilometer in Lipetsk region, monuments to soldiers of the 30th Irkutsk Division and Heroic Tankmen in Krasnodarsky Krai.

In addition, the road workers arranged the territory near the memorial to the Deceased Defenders of Motherland on the M-11 highway.

MOSTOTREST-SERVIS JSC, SMU-Dondorstroy JSC, Dorsnab JSC and Magistral Dvukh Stolits LLC took an active part in the improvement of the memorial complexes near the roads of the Russian Highways State Company.
