18 km of the lower layer of the asphalt concrete surfacing of the highway in the Kherson region has been laid

The Russian Highways State Company's road workers laid around 30 thousand tons of asphalt concrete from Perekop to Chaplynka.
The old road surface was previously milled up, and the right-of-way was cleared. The lower layer of asphalt concrete was laid on 18 km of the road. If favorable weather conditions occur, work will continue.
Road workers are to lay down the final layer of asphalt, update the drainage pipes, put in curbs, reinforce the road shoulders, and paint road lines.
The road from Perekop to Chaplynka was supposed to get a major repair in 2024, but they've already started the overhaul for the convenience of locals and transit traffic.
The work of the Russian Highways State Company fully complies with Russian industry standards. The capital redevelopment is carried out pursuant to the approved regulatory documents, ensuring strict adherence to the operational rules.
