Works on Zapadno-Lineynaya Street were completed in Melitopol, Zaporozhye Oblast
In Melitopol the works on restoration of road surface on Zapadno-Lineynaya Street have been completed. The total length of the renewed section was 1.7 kilometers.
In the course of works road builders have made two layers of asphalt concrete pavement. Road workers laid a total of over 2.8 thousand tons of asphalt concrete. In addition, about 40 road signs were installed at the site to improve traffic safety.
The street has an important social and transportation significance for the city. The renewed road provides an additional exit to the northern part of the region and allows redistributing traffic flows. This reduces the load on the overpass over the railroad tracks on Ekaterina Velikaya Street, which is one of the key transportation arteries of Melitopol.
