On the night of April 17, it is planned to install the footbridge span at the M-4 "Don" in Goryachiy Klyuch
On April 17 from 00:00 to 04:30 hours, at km 1390 down the M-4 "Don" motorway in the area of the urban recreation area "Stary Zamok", work will be performed on the installation of the footbridge span structure. The motor traffic there will be suspended for approximately 30 minutes.
To recap, within the boundaries of the Goryachiy Klyuch municipality, the Russian Highways State Company is building two elevated modular metal crosswalks, to replace the present ground pedestrian crossings: at km 1387 in the Zarechye neighborhood and at km 1390 of the M-4 highway. The new structures will let remove pedestrian traffic signals and improve road capacity along the high-intensity traffic sections.
In 2025, the Russian Highways Company plans to complete the construction of four elevated crosswalks down the Eastern Bypass of Krasnodar and in Goryachy Klyuch in Krasnodar Oblast. Once these structures are commissioned, there will be no at-grade crosswalks along the M-4 "Don" highway for about 270 km, from Kushchevskaya to Goryachy Klyuch.
